WHAT HAPPENS AT A GRADING?

Then students are called up in groups and by grade order and must complete the different elements as taught at the club, Kihon, Kumite & Kata - To see
a description of what this entails click here

As students progress through their grades,
the difficulty of each area becomes greater.

All students have an internationally registered
licence & their grade will be recognised by any S.C.U.K.O instructor any where in the world.
Being a member of F.E.K.O students licence
enables them to attend F.E.K.O events, such
as competitions & courses.

DAN GRADING
Every Students initial goal in Karate is to attain
their Black Belt!. Achieving this level shows
significant improvement in not only the students
karate ability, but also their spirit, fitness, general
well being. The rank of 1st Dan should be viewed
as a begining to the study of karate. The techniques you will have learned to date can now be developed and improved in your quest to become a true
martial artist.

Dan gradings are available on one of the 4 annual courses, or on the summer school in Torbay.
